Since the previous pay offer of 2% was rejected outright, GMB and other unions have been back around the table with the employer
Loyal workers turned up to work today to clean the hospital but got threats and broken promises in return

The company’s refusal to negotiate a pay settlement leaves the GMB union and its members no choice other than seek members’ authority to take industrial action.
“Nursery staff would be down £6,000 and social workers almost £10,000 since 2009 if deal was accepted”, says GMB Union
