Having held negotiations with GMB, Cory has now come forward with a full and final offer for 2021 in relation to pay.
You will note there are 2 options, either:
- An extra day's annual leave or
- An uplift in pay of 1.7%.
This is still far more than today's inflation rate.

After these rather difficult negotiations, GMB believe this is the best that can be achieved unless strike action is taken. For this reason, we would recommend acceptance of the offer of the offer of 1.7%. Whilst we are aware that some staff are keen to have more annual leave, this is included it within the ballot but it is doubtful whether anyone would accept that over a pay increase.
