Petition in support of striking workers at Biffa Wealden

GMB members, the majority of whom earn less than £10 an hour, working for Biffa in Wealden, East Sussex have been on strike for over a month.

These workers are simply looking for a pay rise in line with what colleagues are winning around the region, and which reflects both the hard work that they do day in, day out, come rain or shine, and the sharp rise of the cost of essential items, such as food and shopping, petrol and diesel for their cars and gas and electric to keep their homes running.

Biffa just last week rejected a counter offer from the union made through ACAS, which contained major concessions on the union's part.

Please consider signing our petition in solidarity of these striking workers and show the local politicians and Biffa management that you support their strike action.
