On the 30th March, GMB met with GLF where they provided some figures for London Weighting and new associate rates of pay.
They have made it clear that they are financially in a difficult position when it comes to the increased energy costs and unfunded pay rises for Teachers and Support Staff.
They have said that there will potentially be restructures and redundancies.
The pay offer they have offered you are as follows:
If accepted, both would be paid from 1st April 2023, bringing forward the Pay Award from the usual September 2024 increase.
This means you would go 18 months without a pay rise.
The London Living Wage currently stands at £11.95, and this minimum is below that.
Should members vote to reject the offer, the next steps would be to declare a dispute and ballot for industrial action.
