GMB Southern General Election 2019 Campaign Days

This upcoming General Election is gearing up to be the most important of a generation – and GMB members can help have a real say about the future of the country.

GMB is concerned about the future security of many jobs – in public services such as schools and healthcare, as well as in the private sector where people may have precarious positions, zero-hour contracts or no access to proper terms and conditions entitlements. We care about our members and their livelihoods and believe that the Labour Party is best placed to ensure job stability going forward for working people.

Why not join us in supporting GMB members across the region who are standing to be MP in their local area? Even if you can spare an hour or so to deliver leaflets or speak to people, it might make a massive difference come election day!

South Swindon: 11am, Shaw Village Centre, Ramleaze Drive, Swindon, SN5 5PY (options for door knocking and leafleting)

Battersea: 11am, Tesco, Battersea Park Road, SW11 4LU

Sunday 8^th December

Putney: 11am Putney Labour Party Office, 35 Felsham Road, SW15 1AY (this will be a leafleting session)

Tuesday 10th December

This is the day that all Labour Affiliated Trade Unions will campaign together for a Labour government.

GMB members will be leafleting local railway stations between 6am-9am about the importance of voting Labour.
