GMB Southern Region are highlighting government hypocrisy, as an enormous field hospital is opened at the same time as pushing ahead with A&E and intensive care unit (ICU) closures in South London and Surrey
GMB Southern Region are standing fast on our condemnation of the government for pushing through the closure of A&E and ICU departments in South London and Surrey hospitals. While a field hospital is being put together at the ExCel centre in London, hospital services are being cut in other parts of the capital, at a time when our NHS is under larger strain than ever before.
