Mick Rix, GMB National Officer for Aviation said, "The sale of Gatwick Airport by BAA will not go far enough to address the infrastructure problems of the UK's airports. It will not sort out the problems or benefit the industry or its customers. Only by the government taking a slice if not all of it will we get change for the better."
